Worship Pastor
REPORTS TO: Creative Arts Pastor
About EHills
Eastern Hills is a thriving, Jesus-centered church of 2500+ in Aurora, CO, preparing to launch a second campus. We’re passionate about creating space where people—no matter their background—can experience that Following Jesus Makes Life Better. Our weekend services are modern, creative, and full of life. We write songs for our people, we laugh a lot, and we take our mission seriously (but not ourselves).
The Role
We’re looking for a worship pastor who brings both spiritual depth and creative excellence to the table. This leader will cultivate a worship culture where people consistently encounter the transforming presence of God—through experiences that are authentic, musically rich, and aligned with our mission to reach both the churched and unchurched. This is more than a role. It’s a chance to help shape the spiritual soundtrack of a growing church that’s deeply committed to grace, relevance, and transformation.
What You’ll DO
Lead with excellence. Lead worship with vocal and musical skill, spiritual depth, and emotional authenticity across three weekend services.
Disciple and develop. Mentor worship leaders, musicians, and vocalists with a clear pathway for growth and replication.
Shape worship culture. Help create a worship experience that is compelling, emotionally honest, and accessible for the newcomer.
Collaborate cross-functionally. Work with the Creative Pastor and Teaching Team to design services that are aligned, intentional, and transformative.
Innovate creatively. Bring fresh ideas to the table, integrating creative elements and diverse expressions of worship.
Plan and execute. Oversee all aspects of worship planning, team scheduling, rehearsals, and execution.
Multiply leaders. Build and lead a strong leadership pipeline that can sustain future campuses and ministry expansion.
Foster team health. Be present, available, and intentional about spiritual, emotional, and relational health within the worship team.
What We’re Looking For
A strong voice and musician
A high emotional IQ—someone who reads the room and leads from the heart
A culture-builder who develops people and doesn’t just fill slots
A clear communicator who thrives in feedback-rich, collaborative environments
A leader with vision and follow-through—creative and detail-oriented
A humble presence who’s as comfortable in the green room as they are in the lobby
Bonus Points If You…
Have experience in a multi-service or multi-campus church setting
Are a multi instrumentalist
Know how to write and arrange songs for your local church
Bring a passion for mentoring young leaders and multiplying ministry
Understand the technical side of worship without needing to run it
Have a pastoral heart that leans into moments of reflection and connection
What Success Looks Like
The room is engaged—and not just because the music is good, but because it’s real
Leaders are growing and stepping up—even when you’re not on the platform
The worship culture reflects the heart of our mission and reaches both the 1 and the 99
Your team trusts you, loves serving together, and shows up better because of your leadership
You’re thriving—not just professionally, but spiritually and relationally
Ready to Apply?
If you’re passionate about creating meaningful worship experiences, developing people, and building something that will last—we’d love to hear from you. Please send your resume, a worship leadership reel, a short statement of faith, and three references (including one pastoral) to: Dinah Galley – jobs@ehills.org
