Kid Coordinator

Create fun and exciting environments for kids at Great Lakes Church where they feel loved, accepted, and encouraged in their faith.
Responsibilities
Manage volunteer in-person onboarding and scheduling through Planning Center
Assist the Kids Director in planning and executing weekly programming
Build relationships with volunteers, parents, and kids with a high level of emotional intelligence
Collaborate with the Kids Director and high-level volunteers to plan and lead special events, ensuring they align with the strategy of GLC
Ensure a volunteer appreciation system is in place and being followed
Be proactive in problem-solving and conflict management
Work Schedule
The Great Lakes Church Kids Coordinator is a part-time position, requiring 20 hours per week. Sundays, 7:30 AM-1:00 PM; Monday-Thursday hours vary. Compensation is $20 per hour and is eligible for both health and 403B matching benefits.
